Telfer School Launches the Mitel Virtual International Case Competition

In what may be the first of its kind, the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, Mitel and Export Development Canada (EDC) have given their support to the student organization Managers Without Borders to launch the unique VoIP enabled Mitel Virtual International Case Competition (Mitel VICC).

The virtual global case competition aims to simulate collaboration between international management students based on real world business cases. The competition takes place November 13 to 16, 2008 and includes students from North America, Europe and Asia working together on intercultural teams. The participating universities are:

  • University College Cork (Cork, Ireland)
  • Singapore Management University (Singapore)
  • Euromed École de management, (Marseille, France)
  • SMOT Management Academy (Chennai, India)
  • Baylor University (Texas, USA)
  • Telfer School of Management (Ottawa, Canada)
